This became Not Funny when the buck tried to bag me a couple years back. A 10-pointer, finishing at 9 or 8 I think, charged out from under a tree and whacked obliquely into the front end, doing a lot of sheet metal damage and smashing headlights, but fortunately not triggering the airbags. Distinctly remember seeing a point break off an antler and go poing! off the windshield. The deer shrugged off the hit and staggered, then bounced away. This one would have Doofus tied across its back, returning from the wayside.
