President Trump says that he is going to declare ANTIFA a terrorist organization. But what does it mean? Well, direct donations to ANTIFA will no longer be tax-deductible. I suppose that would be something if the money wasn’t being funneled through charitable fronts, to begin with.
But apart from that it might not mean anything.
You see what it mostly means is that federal resources CAN be assigned to go after the organization. ALF while a declared terrorist organization went completely unmolested by the federal government for years.
Up until now, ANTIFA has been sheltered by local governments. An arrest got them nothing worse than a $50 fine and cool points from with their “comrades.” The press protects them and cops aren’t allowed to get rough with them. They could get rough with whoever they liked. Local law is what the locals declare it to be if they are Democrats.
But yes, if they have been crossing state lines to create mayhem and incite violence then they have broken federal law. Of course, they’ve been doing that for years and nothing happened. As is well known they were well insulated from federal law by the Obama Administration. For the past four years, the Justice Department has been in such upheaval that it was virtually an undirected organization, unable to take on new tasks.
So it really comes down to the question of is Barr serious about breaking ANTIFA? If he is serious, then he can do, ‘you name it’ to them. If someone dies because of rioting he can go as high as the death penalty. Not that you need to go that high. A Nickel in a federal pen is a hell of a lot different from a night in the county jug. And I have real doubts as to how tough these assholes are when the heat is on.
I mean, it’s unbelievable just how entitled these rioters are. When a group of men stood outside of their Italian bakery with guns the ANTIFA clowns had the nerve to be offended that these men valued property more than their (the Rioters) lives. And were demanding that they get out out of the way so they could loot the place unmolested.
Kurt Schlichter put it best, “When the first of these little trust fund sissies figures out he’s not walking out of his cell after 20 minutes with a $50 fine but looking at five years in Leavenworth on a Fed rap, he’ll squeal on his comrades. This is an opportunity to destroy Antifa root and branch, and to eliminate the armed wing of the Democrat party. Forever.”

Trump’s announcement means that he is already after Antifa and rounding up the plotters and organizers, both foreign and domestic. They can’t be sheltered from federal law by local government. These riots were planned well in advance by the leaders who were just waiting for the right trigger event. You can see that Trump had feds round up the leaders in Minnesota before Sunday morning, and after that the crowds were more easily controlled and dispersed.
