God, I remember that book. “The big cookbook” we always called it. Useful recipes, and you can give someone a concussion in a pinch!

The thing is it is a teaching cookbook. Every recipe links back to longer entries about food properties, cooking tools and how to use them.
Invaluable tool. The paper version is a good graduation or wedding present.
