Last is Wonder Woman 1984. It appears to take place in mid-Eighties so I insist on loving on general fucking principle until it gives me a reason not to.

UPDATE: Yeah, I know it says Spengler on the uniform the girl finds but there is no way in hell they will get Bill Murray back gain. I know Harold Ramis is long dead but I checked IMDB and they are not publishing the names of the Grandchildren yet. Which means they want it to be surprise.
Also the mother seems to hate her departed Dad and that would fit with Venkman.

When they destroy an intellectual property their standard fall back plan is to claim, that “the property was dead anyway.” It wasn’t SJWism that killed it, it had run out juice on it’s own and no one could bring it back from the dead.
While this is definitely what was going on in the cases of the Terminator and Charlies’ Angels. That wasn’t at all what happened with Star Wars and Ghostbusters.
Which The Mandalorian has now proven by becoming the highest streamed show in the history of that medium, beating out Stranger Things.
Their tears should prove intoxicating.

I think they are going for 1980s because it is the exact opposent of tone of the Justice league films. Bright, colorful and full of optimism for the future.
As far as Ghostbuster film…there was a shot of a sizable collection of Spores, Molds and Fungi, so it looks like the odds are that it was Egon that got a family going.
I do like the hopeful tone in both of the films. It looks like the suits are getting the message that we are getting tired of seeing currentYear on film, and want to actually escape into a world where there is wonder, whimsy and adventure.

Not checking any trailers anymore, the entertainment industry lost me completely.
Only youtube movie dissections satisfy my thirst for entertainment, they’re 1000 times more entertaining than the movies themselves.
I’m dying for SW EP IX to come out just so the youtube brigade [Fandom Menace] rip it to shreds.
Same for all those films, and most of all I’m not watching a reboot of something successful ever again, they’re (((pointless and bad 99.9999999999999999% of the time))).
