The Critic’s Real Job

So after you’ve fired up the bulldozer and plowed your way through the SJW wordsalad, you are left with a clear mission statement: The job of the modern film critic is to be a propagandist.

That’s why critics do what they do now. It is why you can’t trust them in the least. Their job is no longer to try and tell you if a movie is good or not. It is inform you of whether or not you should see it. Please note this is not the same as speaking to the quality of a movie because it’s quality doesn’t matter in the least to today’s critics.

It’s why good movies are getting routinely trashed these days when they aren’t trying to advance SJWism. And while critics have so far had indifferent success with promoting godawful films that are rated NPC. They have had a great deal of success in damaging good films. Ford v Ferrari is a great film, second best of the year in my opinion but the critics shelled it with two star ratings for the crime of being “too White.” It’s made a $150 million on a budget of $96 million. Not a mega-flop but no executive is going to be saying, “give me the same thing only different.”

But there is some light on the horizon. Critics can’t seem to do anything to stop a good superhero movie. They tried their damnedest to trash Joker and it just past the $1 billion dollar mark.

I’m looking forward to Rebel’s Run.

  1. I don’t know if it is completely the fault of critics about FvF, or if the culture has simply shifted badly. I saw quite a few comments before Midway came out that it was simply another white person movie. It seems that propaganda and demographics are starting to bite.

  2. I know they’ve been doing this for a while, but The Last Jedi really opened my eyes to it. Kind of like how Trump and VD made me realize that the “conservative” pundit class is useless at best, when they’re not attacking us.
