They could have cast this from “Roots” and the late night Blax films I used to watch back in the 80s and it will still get tagged as the Whitest film of the decade, hated by the most glorious people of color.
If it is Oscar bait and comes up against a Snoop Dogg video of him sitting on a porch in the LA area smoking a blunt, pulling on a 40oz Old 800 while gazing upon some borderline obese black chicks twerking their butts the POCs will still clamor that Cats gets drubbed by “Bluntz & Buttz.”
