I was recently party to an extremely revealing conversation.
A gasser (anesthesiologist) had asked a cosmetic surgeon she knew what the latest trend was in his line of work. She had heard Kardashian Butts were on their way out so she was just a little curious as to what the new trend would be.
The cosmetic surgeon shook his head and said, “They keep telling me, I want to look like the real me… On Instagram.”
It’s an interesting disconnect, the girl she sees in the mirror is not the real her. Only the one online is.
Ten years ago you could look cool by decrying women being on their phones all the time. That was then, today women roll their eyes at the geezer who is complaining about women always being on their phones.
You. Are. Not. Going. To. Change. This.
You will however significantly lower your value to women by bitching about it. Instead, make it work to your advantage.
Use it to engage with her, ask her to make a TikTok. Trust me you don’t have to be remotely original, they are always copying each other. Lip-synch to whatever K-Pop song is hot at the moment or whatever. Then ask to take her picture.
There is now another tool in the would-be former Echo Male’s kit. FaceApp or FaceFix, there’s lots of others. Set it to its lowest settings when taking pictures of girls. Even if they know you used it, they will love the result.
Very few women object to being made more beautiful. You’ll have made her look like her real self.
